Professor Wang is chair of nano engineering at University of California San Diego and Director of the Centre for Wearable Sensors at UCSD. Professor Wang is an expert in the electrochemistry of glucose sensors and is the world leader in the field of wearable electrochemical sensors. Professor Wang has published more than 900 publications with over 47,000 citations. In addition he is editor in chief of the journal Electroanalysis. Professor Wang joined the team in 2014 to support the scientific development of new wearable sensor technologies for biomarker detection in the eye.
